TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BACKGROUND:
This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Web Site and Minte Limited, the owner of this Web Site. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Web Site. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Web Site immediately.
No part of this Web Site is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer and our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon our sending a dispatch email to you indicating that your order has been fulfilled and is on its way to you.

Taxable items have 15% VAT (sales tax) added.
All pricing information on the Web Site is correct at the time of going online. Minte Ltd. reserves the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary.
In the event that prices are changed during the period between an order being placed for Goods and Minte Ltd. processing that order and taking payment, you will be contacted prior to your order being processed with details of the new price.
PAY WAY
Payment for internet must be made by credit or debit card. We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express. If you want to pay by cheque please make your cheque payable to Minte Ltd. and post your order to the Company address given in Contact. Any credit card details you entered are transmitted over a secure (SSL) link and stored using 128-bit encryption. We do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than order details that are processed as part of the orders fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Payment for the goods must be made prior to dispatch on Minte Ltd. received cleared funds.
DELIVERY
After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for details that we need to be able to complete the order. After you have submitted your order you will be given an on-screen confirmation receipt which you can print out for your records. You will also be sent a confirmation e-mail. Please note: if the orders placed on a Friday – Sunday or bank holiday they will be delivered +1 working day after holiday/weekend.
To ensure operative and high standard service, orders paid will be dispatched with the Special Delivery (Next Day) by Royal Mail. Please be aware that Next Day Deliveries can be delivered between 9 am-7 pm. For security reasons all deliveries require a signature upon receipt of order. If you will not be at your delivery address during normal office hours you can provide us with an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to sign for your parcel. If you are unable to sign for your parcel, you should receive a card with written information on where and when you should collect it. If you do not collect your parcel within a specified timeframe (usually 7 days), the parcel will be returned to us and you will need to arrange with us for a new delivery and pay for the costs incur in resending the parcel. The delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that may be levied upon importation. These charges must be paid by the consignee.

Minte Ltd. aims to always provide high quality Goods that are fault free and undamaged. On occasion however, goods may need to be returned. Returns are governed by these Terms and Conditions.
1.1 If you receive Goods which do not match those that you ordered, unless accompanied by an explanatory note detailing the changes, stating reasons for the changes and setting out your options, you should contact us within 10 days to arrange collection and return. Minte Ltd. is not responsible for paying delivery and packing costs. You will be given the option to have the Goods replaced with those ordered (if available) or to be refunded through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods. Refunds and replacements will be issued upon our receipt of the returned Goods.
1.2 If any Goods you have purchased have faults when they are delivered to you, you should contact Minte Ltd. within 28 days to arrange collection and return. Minte Ltd. is not responsible for paying shipment costs. Goods must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods.
1.3 If Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to Minte Ltd. within 10 days and arrange collection and return. Minte Ltd. is not responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods.
1.4 You have a statutory right to a “cooling off” period. This period begins once your order is complete and ends 7 days after the Goods have been delivered. If you change your mind about the goods within this period, please return them to Minte Ltd. within 7 days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains unopened and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on the part of Minte Ltd. You are responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason.
1.5 If you wish to return Goods to Minte Ltd. for any of the above reasons, please contact us using the details on info@minte.co.uk to make the appropriate arrangements.
1.6 Minte Ltd. reserves the right to exercise discretion with respect to any returns under these Terms and Conditions. Factors which may be taken into account in the exercise of this discretion include, but are not limited to:
1.6.1 Any use or enjoyment that you may have already had out of the Goods;
1.6.2 Any characteristics of the Goods which may cause them to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
1.6.3 The fact that the packaging has been opened.
Such discretion to be exercised only within the confines of the law. .
PREVIOUS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any prior versions thereof, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless it is expressly stated otherwise.
NOTICES
All notices/communications shall be given to us either by post to our Premises (see Contact) or by email to info@minte.co.uk. Such notice will be deemed received 3 days after posting if sent by first class post, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the relationship between you and Minte Ltd. shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of Scotland and Minte Ltd. and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts.
